Below are resources to assist OSOP students throughout their graduate program.
TCNJ Accounts
Students who are admitted as matriculated or non-matriculated students will have access to TCNJ Accounts. TCNJ Accounts include TCNJ Email, PAWS, and Canvas. These accounts can be accessed on TCNJ Today.
Account Lookup – Security Policy
Students who have difficulty accessing their account may need to update or change their password.
All TCNJ Google accounts are secured with Google 2-Step Verification. Students must set up their accounts for an extra layer of security.
Students who have been locked out of their TCNJ accounts due to not having Google 2-Step Verification must submit a ticket to the TCNJ Helpdesk.
Students who are unable to access their TCNJ accounts must contact the TCNJ ITHelpDesk at helpdesk@tcnj.edu. The Help Desk requires all students and faculty having difficulty accessing their accounts to either email (helpdesk@tcnj.edu) or call (609-771-2660) for assistance. Their new password reset policy involves conducting a Zoom call to verify a valid photo ID that matches the name on file.
Apostille Mailing Assistance
Apostilles verify the legal status of New Jersey Notaries Public and certain public officials (e.g., notaries). Apostilles can be obtained in any state; therefore, we suggest that students with residences, family, or friends in another state have an Apostille issued there, possibly with the help of family or friends, to speed up the process.
Apostille mailing is a courtesy our office provides only to OSOP students during fall and spring terms. Winter and summer students must handle it themselves; however, the process and payment are managed by the NJ Treasury, Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services (DORES), outside of TCNJ, and must be initiated and completed by the student.
If this is the spring or fall semester, please complete and submit the Apostille mailing assistance request form. After submission, you will receive an automated response with additional details about the process and the steps needed to obtain an Apostille in New Jersey with mailing assistance from OSOP.
From start to finish, obtaining an affixed Apostille to your TCNJ document(s) can take anywhere from 3-6 months. Most of this process is done outside of our office. That is why we also encourage students to seek assistance from family members or friends who live stateside. Apostilles can be obtained in any state, and this process may be quicker if a family member or a friend in another state assists you in obtaining an Apostille.
TCNJ Email
TCNJ sends all official communication via email only, including your tuition invoice. If you don’t plan on using your TCNJ email account, it is essential that you permanently forward TCNJ emails to another email account. To access TCNJ Email, please go to TCNJ today.
PAWS
PAWS is TCNJ’s electronic student database, where students can access grades, pay tuition, order transcripts, and apply for graduation. Matriculated and non-matriculated students are assigned a PAWS ID after submitting either a Visiting Student Application or a graduate application for admission. To access PAWS, please go to TCNJ today.
Canvas
Canvas is a course management tool that allows you to post messages and upload class materials. To access Canvas, please go to TCNJ today.
Course Registration Information
Students must consult either their program planner (global programs or domestic programs) and/or their academic advisor for course registration advisement. OSOP publishes course schedules by academic term on their website (“courses by the terms”).
Graduation Information
Please visit OSOP’s graduation information page to learn more.
Order Official Transcripts
The official transcript is The College of New Jersey’s certified statement of a student’s academic record and can be ordered through PAWS or the Office of Records and Registration. The official transcript features the College seal and the signature of the Director of Records and Registration, listing all enrolled courses, grades, academic terms, programs of study, and conferred degrees.
Tuition
The Office of Student Accounts sends tuition invoices to students’ TCNJ email addresses on a monthly basis. Students MUST check their TCNJ Email address regularly or forward it to a preferred email address.
Please refer to OSOP’s tuition and fees.
Off-Site and Online Programs (OSOP) prohibit students from taking a course if they have an outstanding balance on their account. Tuition must be received by the deadline, either as indicated on the TCNJ billing calendar or before the OSOP course begins (for condensed classes).
