Program Options:


Supervisor Certificate

Through Off-Site and Online Programs, candidates can complete the 12-credit (four-class) Supervisor Certificate online in just one year.  This program is a focused course of study in supervision and curriculum, preparing teachers to earn a New Jersey Supervisor Administrative Certificate.  Candidates must hold a master’s degree or be working toward one to participate in this program.

Admission Information

Students can begin the Supervisor’s Certificate right away as a Visiting Student. However, all students must matriculate into the Supervisor’s Certificate program to complete the program. Please visit our admissions page to learn more.

Educational Leadership, MEd

This 36-credit online program focuses on the core issues of schooling, curriculum, and instruction, enhancing your skill set to build strong learning communities and efficiently manage schools. Combine online coursework with a hands-on administrative internship and a professional portfolio assessment. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to lead a school and apply for initial certification as a New Jersey School Principal** and your Supervisor Certification**.

This 30-credit post-master’s online certificate provides the courses and internship experiences needed for an NJ Principal Administrative Certificate.** Covering all aspects of school leadership, including those in the TCNJ Supervisor Certificate program, the program emphasizes building effective learning communities. It equips you with the skills to manage schools effectively. Once you finish, you can apply for initial certification as a New Jersey school principal.
