The following are common payment problems and how to troubleshoot them:
Firewall: Sometimes PAWS is blocked by an employer firewall, so try making your payment from home.
Device: Phones and tablets do not work well for PAWS, so try using a laptop or desktop.
Browser: The best browsers to try are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer. (Apple) Safari is not compatible.
Pop-up Blocker: Make sure your pop-up blocker is specifically disabled for “paws.tcnj.edu.”
NOTE: Some credit cards limit the amount you can charge during a 24 hour period. Try making smaller payments across multiple days towards your balance.
